Starting the Wedding Planning (little by little)

I've been dreaming of my wedding day ever since I was a little girl. I've always wanted a big, lavish, and glamorous wedding. One where I walk down the aisle in a big ball gown covered in sparkly rhinestones. Butttt now that I'm actually starting to plan my wedding I've ditched the idea of a Cinderella  style wedding and have done a complete 180 on what my dream wedding day will look like.
Right after Cameron proposed he suggested that we don't plan anything until after we graduate in May. That way he can focus on his final projects and I can get my business plan done. His suggestion did not last very long because I was already throwing out ideas for venues and decor the day after the proposal... I just can't help myself.
Cameron & I have both agreed we are not wanting a big wedding by any means. We started our guest list and so far we are under 100 guest ,which is exactly what we're aiming for. We want to keep it small and intimate with close friends and family. This is completely different than what my 8 year old self would have wanted. I guess young Ellie never realized how much money that big princess wedding would be.
Along with ditching that dream of a big wedding, I also decided on leaving the gaudy and glamorous decor in the past. If you would have asked me 3 year ago I would have told you my wedding would be flashy with crystals and sparkles everywhere. I also probably  would have also mentioned an ice sculpture. However, now that I'm starting to piece together what I want my dreamy November wedding to look like it's so different than what I would have ever imagined. I'm going for a more simple and rustic look. I want lanterns and greenery everywhere. Pinterest has been my best friend in finding what I want my dream wedding to look like. I'm sharing pictures of what I want my wedding to look like below ( all are from Pinterest & not my photos).
Now that Cameron & I have an Idea of the number of guest we plan to have, the time of year we are having a wedding, and the decor we are wanting, we just need to find the perfect venue to fit our dream wedding. Although the venue is one thing I can't get a jump start on until after we know where Cameron will be working. So who knows, our wedding could be in GA, OH, or even TN, I'll just have to keep you posted on that one ;)

On Wednesdays I'm going to do a "Wedding Wednesday" post. Whether it be Pinterest finds, new planning ideas,  or even just a little update , I just want to keep you all in the loop of our big day. This will also keep me on track with things and allow me to reach out to you all for help and maybe I can help other bride to be's out.  I'd also love to hear if you all have any suggestions on posts or planning tips to make this wedding planning go smoothly.
