#1-- Find my Confidence
I feel like every day I am finding things I don't like about myself. I hate the way I look, I hate my lisp, I hate my lack of consistency. This year I'm deciding not to find things to hate but to find my confidence. Of course I'm going to work hard to get where I can actually love my body, but instead of looking in the mirror and seeing things I don't like, I want to focus on the changes I'm making and love it. My lisp however, I can't change, so I'm just going to have to embrace my speech impediment and start doing videos on Insta and maybe start some vlogs.
#2-- Get more Organized
I like to think I'm a very organized person. However, there are places I lack organization. My blog being one of the things I need to work a bit harder on. I used to only post a blog every Tuesday, but I bumped that up to 3 days a week. Somewhere through my busy work and school schedule I got off my blog schedule and I hate that I did that. My blog is very important to me and I am so thankful I have this platform to connect and share with you all on. So 2018 is the year I get back on track, post will be coming EVERY Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. I may have days where I'll have a surprise post but 3 times a week seems very fitting.
#3-- Find My Path
With graduation approaching here in less than 5 months, I really need to figure out my path. My dream has always been to open my own Boutique in Savannah, GA. I already started my research and business plan so I can get everything going once we get there. However, my boutique really depends on where we end up. Right now, Cameron and I are pushing for Savannah but with his degree we could end up in an major city in any state. So who knows, we may be living in Texas. Since graduation is this year and Cameron and I will be finding our new home, I really need to find my path in life. I'm dedicating the last 6 months of my year to just that.
#4-- Connect with more Bloggers
When I first started my blog I had absolutely NO IDEA how blogging worked, literally my first year all my pictures were taken on a low quality IPhone 4. I just knew I loved to write, loved to style outfits, and loved to have my own platform to share my passions. Now that I'm getting on track with my blog and have better quality photos I feel like I can really make more of an impression on the world of blogging. I want to connect with other bloggers, so I have that support group with me to help me keep my blog on track and just continue to grow.
#5-- Love Like Never Before
I've been madly in love with Cameron since 2012. Everyday I somehow fall more in love with him and I didn't even know it was possible to do that. This year our relationship will be taking a HUGE step as we will be getting our first apartment together. It seems like everyone likes to tell us how hard living together is, and don't get me wrong I can see why it can be so difficult. We each have different ways of doing things, like I think toothpaste should be squeezed bottom to top and Cameron likes to squeeze right from the middle. HA! I don't think a fight will start over that, but adapting to each other’s differences is what will be interesting. I think as we take this step it's so important for me to just make sure I show him how much I love him and how excited I am to start this new journey.
#6-- Grow my lil’ Blog
I would not be where I am today if it were not for all of your love and support from all of you. From reading my posts, to sharing them on social media, to your sweet comments, and shopping my links. You all are so supportive and I am truly thankful for all of you! For 2018 I will be putting in so much more work into posts and just my website all around. I want my little blog to keep trending upward and growing and with all of your sharing and likes then it can do so. I'm so excited to see what we can do this year with Daily Ellie Style and I want to do more for you in return with some giveaways.
Thank you all for an amazing 2017, I just know 2018 will be just as perfect with all of your continued love and support.
