The Truth Behind Two Pieces.

Have you ever tried on a two piece outfit an fell completely in love, but when going out in public you feel like you may have misjudged how it looked? You may feel like it looked better in the store or online?  If so, I want to reassure you that you are not alone!
I fell in love with this two piece outfit from Hollister & I bought it in April. I contemplated all summer if I should wear it. After about 4 months of telling myself I need to shed a few pounds before letting people see this on me, I realized I'm going to let a really cute outfit go unseen.
I have seen awful things on social media about how "people should not wear leggings if they weigh more than 120 pounds" & people posting pictures of girls wearing two pieces to make fun of the way they look. I was definitely nervous about walking around in public to get pictures because I obviously weigh more than 120, I have rolls, & I definitely do not have a super model body.  Now, this blog post is not about me but about how girls should feel comfortable in the clothes they wear. So below I'm giving a few tips on finding your style & the truth behind two Pieces.
1.) Don't Fall into the social media trap:   You need to completely erase any negative comments you  have seen on social media from your mind. Do not let the mean tweets/comments/ statuses dictate your wardrobe. People like to make themselves feel better by putting others down.
2.) Get comfy: I have learned over the past 18 months of blogging that you will never truly love your style until you get comfortable. If you find heels comfortable then YES Girl work it! If you find sweats comfortable That's cool! If you are a dress addict then I'm right there with you! center your style about what makes you feel the most comfortable.
3.) Embrace yourself or change yourself: This is the hardest thing to do in my book. I can find more things I want to change about my body than things I actually like. I know it is very important to love the way you look and I try to but it is one of the hardest things to do. You can not truly be happy until you love the way you look in your clothes. And if you don't like what you see then work on changing. I've been on a workout Kick lately so I'm ready for change & ready to fully love myself.
So, the truth behind two pieces is that there is no weight limit, there is no body type, there are no regulation or stipulation, you just need to embrace your body and love the way you look. If you are comfortable and you feel beautiful, that is all that matters.

Ellie
