Fun, unique patterns is what makes an outfit so fabulous. I feel like my wardrobe is a mesh of stripes & florals. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, however I've been on the hunt to score some pieces that have a unique pattern that isn't already hanging in my closet. So of course I'm trying to avoid stripes because I have like 10 striped Tshirts alone, that's not counting blouses or dresses or rompers. I'm pretty well off on stripes for a while.
Florals come in so many different variety of patterns and colors it's easy for me to just buy something for the simple fact that I don't have "THAT" floral pattern yet. I'm a floral pattern addict, so I guess it makes sense that every other thing in my closet has a different floral pattern. Although, I'm trying to find more pieces for my wardrobe that, not necessarily don't have any florals in it, but has a different pattern that incorporates more than JUST florals to break up what I already have. So when Everyday Chic Boutique posted a picture of this romper I thought this is sorta the pattern I'm looking for! It still has florals but there is some green leaves in it to break up the look of JUST floral. So of course I had to buy it, but I didn't just buy it for the pattern. I adore this unique pattern. However, I was sold when I saw the cold shoulders. I'm obsessed with all the shoulder pieces this spring/ summer and this was the perfect piece to add to my romper collection (or obsession, what ever you'd like to call it). Everything from the pattern, to the open back, and details is so different. This is totally something that will be on repeat this season!
Please let me know I'm not the only person who's wardrobe is overfilling with stripes and florals! I'ts so easy to be drown to those simple patterns, at least it is for me, HA!
