It's no secret that rompers are my all time favorite thing to wear (aside from pajamas of course HA!). But this time of year I start noticing all the rompers fading away to make room for the fall favorites, like chunky knitted sweaters and cozy pullovers. Don't get me wrong I love all those things as well. But I also really hate to see rompers just go away for the colder seasons. There's not too much to worry about right now since we're only in August, but it's coming & it's coming quick. Fall is right around the corner!
When it comes to finding the perfect date night look I try to find pieces I can wear to any activities Cameron & I decide to do. Whether it be going to the movies, or going to play top golf, or even just heading to Bar Louie to hangout on the patio. Now that we live somewhere that actually has things to do right inside the city, it makes it easy for us to plan a little date night evening once (or twice) a week.
I'm drawn to any top or blouse with a bit of flow to it. I love things that I can twirl in, move in, and feel free in. Plus wearing something loose on a warm summer day is always a bonus!
Can you believe we are already in August?! It seems like we were just starting to plan our summer and now it's already time to start looking for pieces for fall, crazy right?! Not like I'm complaining because fall weather and fall styles are my favorite so I'm getting pretty excited!
I've been obsessing over the color blue lately. I mean literally, everything I've got for my wardrobe in the past month has been blue. Which is something I find a little weird because I've never really been attracted to any shade of blue in the past, it just wasn't a color I normally bought or wore. But hey now that I'm wearing it A LOT more, I'm playing with all the different colors that I can mix it with.
I hate to say it, but July is almost over which means I'm getting all ready for fall. Time to break out the cardigans and jackets and boots and scarves and all the fun fall things. However, since we still have a week of July, that means I have a week to share some of my favorite summer things with you all before Daily Ellie Style goes into Autumn mode.
