Hey everyone! It's been a little while since I've been able to post, but I'm finally back at it! So if you don't follow me on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook you may have not known that I have set a day to make my posts. Since I got a new job I will only be posting on Saturdays, so every Saturday I will have a post up for you all(: maybe every once in a while I will be a little spontaneous and do two a week but I will most definitely have a new one on here every Saturday!
Now since it's the Fourth of July I decided it would be a necessity to show my patriotic outfit. Before I get into the details about my outfit I would like to give a special shout out to all of those men and women who are serving or served for our country! I could never give you enough thanks for fighting for our freedom. You all have given so much for this country! So a huge THANK YOU from Daily Ellie! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA!
To celebrate this holiday I wanted to show my love of red, white, and blue by of course putting those colors in my outfit! Some people go all out(nothing wrong with that) but I decided to be a little subtle with my colors but still being patriotic!
First, I bought this crop lace top from Charlotte Russe. I actually bought this top to go with a tulle skirt I bought from Charlotte Russe as well( don't worry I have a blog post lined up for that outfit as well.) but for today I bought a different skirt to wear with it.
So my red maxi skirt is also from Charlotte Russe. I actually just picked it up the other day because right now all their maxi skirts are $10! Plus I knew this skirt would be fabulous for any Fourth of July event!
Next, would be my jean button up from Hollister Co. This went so perfectly together because it looks so casually dressy. I mean I would totally wear this outfit to any party you're planning to go to today. Plus, since it might be a little warm you could always take the button up off and still look very cute! I honestly didn't anticipate on wearing the button up but since I'm a little "ehhh" about my body I didn't really want to show my tummy. So I tied the ends of my button up together and voilà I solved my tummy showing problem & I made my outfit look a little more awesome. Also when it cools down while you're watching fireworks you can still be cozy because you have the sleeves.
Lastly, I of course needed the blue for my patriotic outfit so I had to find the perfect accessory! My boyfriend's mom got me an adorable purse a couple weeks ago from Wilson's Leather when everything was on sale. So that was the perfect blue for my outfit. It's so summer stylish and perfect for the Fourth! Plus navy goes with almost everything so even when I'm not looking to wear red or white I could match it for almost anything else!
Also, I forgot to mention that my lipstick brand is NYX so if you're wanting the perfect red lips for your party then I suggest this fierce red would be perfect!
P.S. Don't forget your bug spray, I did last night and now I have mosquitoe bites everywhere! ALSO be SAFE!
