Every year I set goals for myself. I used to refer the these goals as "new year resolution". In fact you probably have set some for yourself a well. I decided this year I'm ditching the idea of calling these tasks "new year resolutions" and call them "goals" instead. Mainly because when I say I have a new years resolution I know here in just a few weeks I'll be waving goodbye to all those things I said I would do all year long, plus I hate getting that " yeahhhh righttttt" look from people when I say I'm really going to stick to it this year.
This year I have 5 different Categories of goals;
Belief, Blog, Budget, Organize, & Love.
I did 5 because reaching 5 goals feels a lot more obtainable than having my normal 20 resolutions. But no matter what you call it, how many you have, and what you want, we are in this together and should support one another along the way.

Belief:
Belief can mean many and different things for every person.
For my belief goal this year I'm wanting to strengthen my belief. Since moving I haven't been involved in a church. After being in Huntsville for 6 months I feel like this is something I really need to do. I want to worship with people, learn from people, and share my love of my God with people. So making sure I find a place I can do that in my new home state is a BIG goal for me this year.

Blog
Blogging is easily one of my favorite things to do. I love writing and sharing my love of fashion with you all. However, I have been lacking in getting posts up and I feel so torn up about it. I want to be a source you all can look to to get affordable fashion tips from. I also want to share more lifestyle updates and more about my life. I feel like lately I've been down about my blog. I feel like I don't have things to share because my life isn't super thrilling and sometimes I don't have a brand new outfit to post. However, for 2019 I am diving in. I'm doing 2+ post a week & Adding a LIFESTYLE tab to my page! That will be up next week when I have a post to attach to it. I'm so excited for this guys!

Budget
Budgeting is not something I like to do. I'm a spender & Cameron is a saver, which is great because if we were both spenders we would be in big trouble & if we were both savers we would never do anything fun. Thankfully I was given a man who likes to think ahead instead of just the now.
For 2019 we have a lot of things to budget for. We have our wedding, a few vacations with our families (plus a honeymoon), and we are looking to start looking into purchasing a home. So those are some pretty big out of pocket expenses we're going to be tackling this year. Like I said I'm the spender so this whole budget thing is really just for me to stick to which is going to be the most painful thing to do.
I'm going to cut my spending WAYYYY down. * get ready to be sick* I spend roughly about 400.00+ a month on unnecessary purchases, clothes, home decor, just THINGS. I'm so bad about this, that's why this is my year to show Cameron I can change my spending habits and be a responsible adult. In no time we can have a lot of extra money saved up for our big purchases just by me cutting back.

Organize
I like to think I am a very organized person when it comes to knowing where things are. But when it comes to tasks I am the worst, as you can probably tell by the lack of blog posts that have went up lately.
In 2019 I'm going to take this goal very seriously. I bought a new agenda and I am writing down everything that needs done day by day. I'm going to have a post on this next week, but to give you an idea:
JAN 01 I wrote down " get blog pics, Write Blog post to go live tomorrow, Post insta pic, make lunch, workout, do laundry, wash bedding, make dinner".
& everything is color coded because I have to have something to get my attention to remind me to look at my next task of the day.
Along with just being organized with my daily tasks, I need to stay organized with a workout routine. So the best way to do it is set an alarm to do one RIGHT when I get off work at 4:00. That way as I'm putting things away off my desk I can just go right into my workout routine and be done by the time Cameron gets home.

Love
Love is such a broad term. I mean so many things for this goal.
I need to learn to love myself. I feel like every year it's so easy to make a resolution to lose weight which is great, but losing weight isn't something that happens over night. So as I work toward my goal to tone up, I need to not hate what I see in the mirror. We are all so beautiful and should be reminded everyday. We all need to love our bodies and even if we are working toward a goal ( lose weight, gain weight, tone up , gain muscle, ect.) we should love our bodies through the process.
Along with just gaining self love, I want to show Cameron how much I love him by doing little things. Maybe getting up earlier than him to make him coffee for a change, iron his shirts in the morning, go to the comic book store with him, or even just play a video game he likes with him. He does so much for me and I am so thankful. 2019 will be the year I can return the favor.
We also have our wedding this year so this will be the year we can share our love in a whole new way. I'm so PUMPED!
