It's time to another " Follow Me To..." post! These posts are to fill you in on my recent travels and give you a guide on things to see or try if you ever in the area. I also love to hear if you all have any suggestions. Well, let's dive in!
I'm sure if you following me on all social media platforms then you probably know about my most recent travels, to Nashville. A few weeks ago Cameron and I packed up to spend a weekend in Nashville to do a little exploring of one of the most beloved cities. I've always heard so much about how amazing Nashville is to experience and I must say, it's a pretty amazing experience.
Our first day there we did a little sightseeing of some of the landmarks and parks around the area. Seeing the different parks and monuments in different cities is one of my favorite things to do when we go to different cities and states. So we headed to Millennium park to check out the Parthenon, which I must say is pretty fascinating. We also went to the Belle Meade Plantation, which is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. If you're ever in or around Nashville I would recommend checking this place out because it is picture perfect!
After we did a little exploring of the parks and monuments, we headed to Downtown Nashville, this is where all the partying is at! Talk about bars on bars on bars. You have your 3 story high bars, bicycle bars, Old time Saloon style bars, classy bars, any kind of bar you can imagine. I'm not one for heavy drinking, but if you're into that, then this city is one you will absolutely love. So we walked around the town, listened to a few live bands play and sipped on margs at Margaritaville. After we filled up on a volcano Nachos we headed to the bridge to overlook the city at sundown and watch Nashville fill the sky with it's neon lights which was so magical!
For our little trip I brought along my midi gingham dress from Piper & Scoot. It is a super easy look and so comfortable for walking around all day. The pockets made it even better for a day spent out on the town. I wore my side split booties from Target because they are so simple but so very cute.
If you have any suggestions on places to go or things to see in Nashville leave a comment below. In the meantime stay tuned for Part 2 of my Nashville travels.
