Fierce in a Red Midi

I don't know any girl who doesn't love wearing red, especially a fierce red dress. I found this perfect midi dress a few weeks ago and fell instantly in love with it. It's really weird because last year I couldn't picture myself obsessing over midi dresses, yet here I am hanging about 5 different midi dresses in my closet.
I couldn't see myself rocking a midi-dress, I just imagined it looking like I bought a maxi dress from the Tween section. I finally decided I should give it a go though. You never know unless you try, right? Well I'm so happy I decided to join the midi band wagon because I'm loving this length! Such a modest and flattery look that is perfect for spring. Plus I'm feeling so fierce in the color red. Win-Win!
Midi dresses are going to be a spring and summer staple. There are so many fun styles and patterns out there. This red one is very simple but, hey that's the fun part. The options to accessorize are endless.
I paired this midi with a classic pair of black, blocked heeled mules. Along with a kite scarf, which I tied in my hair to dress up my messy braid a little bit. For jewelry I added a layered necklace, I should mention this is another big trend right now, and a few stack-able rose gold rings. I brought a long a classic denim jacket, because you can never go wrong with a denim jacket in the spring.
This dress also comes in a classic striped pattern, which is also so flattering. So if your a pattern kind of gal then this is for you. You can shop my whole look by clicking the pictures below.

That girl in red does greater justice to photo shoots than some high fashion models I know. I can't help but wonder if we really need to get trained for this or is it supposed to come out naturally. These talent of capturing the human form in perfect timing, you don't learn this in any school. I guess it's a real God given skill. I believe a subject is only as good as the photographer who captured it. If you want to look more bankable, you need to invest in a stylist and a good photographer. I think this girl did a great job selling what she had to offer.
