The pressure is on to do all things fall before October ends. To help stay on track I have compiled a small list of my top favorite fall things to do in October. Trust me, my list would have been 3 times larger but I stuck to the basics and tried to narrow it down so you wouldn't have to spend all day reading a long list of my favorite fall traditions.
* Pumpkin patches are a fall MUST! you cannot have fall without heading to a farm and finding the perfect pumpkin. Plus the fun continues when you get home and get to carve the most creative faces/ objects on your pumpkin.
*Drink a pumpkin spice latte is at the very top of my list because this is my new found love. I have always heard how delicious Starbucks' pumpkin spice lattes are and this year I officially became an addict. I recommend trying this before they stop selling it for the season:)
*Go on a hayride & enjoy the natural beauty of fall. I'm a huge fan of hayrides because you get an in depth/ behind the scenes look of the leaves changing and fall in the making. I'm not a fan of haunted hayrides because I am a huge chicken and hate being scared. I'm a more day time hayrider but if you're more of a night rider then that's cool too.
*Make a pumpkin pie, or a pumpkin roll, or pumpkin cookies, or even pumpkin cheese cake. Fall brings out my sweet tooth because everything is pumpkin and so delicious. Fall makes is socially acceptable for me to eat everything pumpkin so I have to take advantage! Although this year I am on a strict diet so I've been pinteresting some healthier pumpkin flavored options.
*October is not October without watching the Halloween Town series. This has been my tradition for as long as I can remember. Every year I grab a throw blanket and a pair fuzzy socks and watch all of the Halloween Town movies. I may be 20 but I think we all can agree those movies are for everyone no matter your age.
*Lastly, having a bonfire and telling spooky stories with close friends and family is such a fun fall tradition. Like I said before I hate being scared, so if things get really scary then that's when I start to regret this tradition. It's all fun and games until I lose a week of sleep and can't be anywhere alone. HA!
Also, check below for the newest fall fashion trend, button down skirts. I'm such a huge fan of this trend! Pairing a cute pair of booties with a button down skirt gives your style a fabulous fall inspired look. I absolutely love how 90's inspired styles, like chokers and button downs, are making a come back! You can shop my look by clicking the Forever 21 banner on the right, or clicking the links below!(:
I hope my list helped with any fall activities you may want to add to your fall TO-DO list. What are some of your fall traditions? Fill me in things I should try before Christmas consumes me in November ;) I love trying new things and I love hearing from you, so let me know fun fall activities I need to try:)
