I don't know about you, but I am so excited for Christmas! The whole month of December has been filled with so many fun Christmas festivities and beautiful decor that I'm radiating with Christmas cheer! And here we are, ONE. WEEK. AWAY!!!!
As the holiday starts to approach I'm trying to plan out the perfect outfit for all the Christmas running I have to do. I always seem to have a few stops to make for the Holidays so finding something comfy is ideal. Plus I like to stuff myself on rolls, so finding something loose makes me feel a little bit better about my poor dieting decisions. But Hey, it's the holiday season so I'm allowed to go nuts with the carbs & Calories, right? Ha! I created a list of tips for finding the perfect Holiday outfit if you're someone who is on the go for Christmas, or even if you're someone who likes to stay comfy and cozy.
TIP #1 : Loose fitting is the best fitting
I spend a lot of time on the road so I always want to find pieces that I'm comfortable in and can easily move in. I always try to avoid body hugging pieces or pieces I constantly have to pull and tug on. The last thing I want to do is spend the day trying to shift my outfit into place every time I sit or stand. Aiming for a loose sweater and leggings or joggers is what I'm leaning toward. Something that I'm comfortable eating 5 rolls in ;)

TIP #2: Simple accessories
I love to accessorize all day, everyday. But when it comes to traveling I like the bare minimum needed to add a little extra glam to my basics. A knitted hat or scarf would be the perfect touch to look fabulous and also stay warm. A statement necklace is also one of my major go-to pieces because it adds sparkle and shine which is perfect for Christmas.

TIP #3: Comfortable Shoes
I found that the key factor to ensuring cozy traveling is wearing a comfortable pair of shoes. I tend to go toward riding boots because they look great , keep me warm, and have no heel! I avoid heels at all costs because I hate driving in heels and I hate walking in snow in heels. So I always go more for flat boots or booties, especially if snow is in the forecast. I would highly suggest anything that doesn't have a heel.

TIP#4: A stylish coat/ vest
Making sure I have some sort of layering is so important. I hate being cold so bringing along a fur vest or coat or even a pullover is essential. I always lean toward a simple peacoat but I feel like something a bit more comfortable is more my style this year. So I'll be bringing along my fuzzy pullover from Forever21. I've seen these things everywhere and I'm obsessed! I highly recommend this piece as a Christmas necessity.

TIP#5: Christmas cheer
I'm a Christmas freak, so I'm all for ugly an Christmas sweater or crazy Christmas socks! I think it's so fun to wear something a little extra and crazy! Go all out with the reds and greens and the glitter and lights! Cameron's mom got us all light up Christmas hats this year and I'm looking forward to wearing that to the Christmas party! I'm one who loves to have fun and just go a little Christmas crazy!;)
