Last week Cameron and I headed south a little ways to do a little exploring of Louisville, KY. I love getting to take little getaways with my Bae to cities we've never explored before. There's just something about being in large cities makes me feel like I belong.
Stopping by all of the cute little local coffee shops and boutiques is my favorite thing about exploring. For someone who lives in a small town of just one franchise coffee shop, getting to find unique little coffee shops is my favorite thing! We stopped by the most charming cafe, Blue Dog Cafe. Talk about marble galore and brassy finishes, that makes you feel like you stepped onto the set of Beauty and the Beast. This shop was very elegant and cozy at the same time. One look around and I knew if I ever owned my own cafe it would look just as darling as this place. Unfortunately we ran into a large brunch crowd, so I didn't get any pictures of this charming place. However, I did link them above so if you're ever around Louisville you can stop by and enjoy some of the best croissants you've ever had.
I knew we would be headed to Blue Dog Cafe so I dressed up in my favorite little swing dress from Francesca's and a layered beaded necklace also from Francesca's. I wore this over-sized, open front sweater jut because it was a little chilly in the morning and it matched my necklace perfectly. I also wore my new cut out booties from Everyday Chic Boutique to give this a more dressy look. This made the perfect ensemble for a little coffee shop exploring and boutique shopping in the wonderful city of Louisville.
