With Fall happily approaching us, September 22, I am in full fall mode. So to really make sure we have the best fall yet I've compiled a list of things we must do for fall!
.) Apple Picking - This season really brings the apple addict out in me. Bring on the apple cider and apple pie! Everything apple tastes better when you pick them yourself, trust me!
.) Hayride- I'm a sucker for hayrides, although I'm always so nervous someone will jump out of the woods and scare me, nothing is more fun than taking a ride on a chilly evening through the woods.
.) Fall Festivals- It's that time of year when all the street festivals come to life. We have a huge festival in OH, the Pumpkin Festival, and it is so crazy to see how many thing you can get pumpkin flavored!
.) Hot CoCo Movie Night- Snuggling up in my favorite pajamas and a large cup of coco while watching my favorite Halloween movies is ideal to a perfect fall evening. I could watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and the Halloweentown Series on repeat all fall long if I could.
.) Pumpkin Patches + Sunflower fields- Nothing says "Fall" like going out to a pumpkin patch and sunflower field. Of course these will be the most Instagrammable parts of the season!
.) Bonfire + s'mores- fall has the tendency to make me turn into quite the little piggy. All the sweet foods start coming out at the bonfires and I just can't resist eating all the s'mores and pie!
.) Costume Parties- It's time to hunt down this years' Halloween costumes! Cam & I are going as pirates this year in Honor of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie! I love seeing all the creative costumes people come up with, it's honestly amazing!
.) Football games- Nothing says fall like heading to a football game or just watching it on television with close friends. To the fellow Buckeye fans: OH!
.) Haunted Houses- I'm not a fan of haunted houses of any sorts. I do not like scary movies, haunted houses, or really anything that involves me not getting sleep for a solid 3 months. Although I won't be caught anywhere near a haunted house, many people like doing this for fall, so I'm adding it to the list.
.) Hiking- hiking is something I really enjoy doing, but the best time to do it is when the leaves start to change and flutter down onto the pathway. It's like being in a Disney movie! Just don't forget a hat and an extra layer of socks.
This is my little list of things that would be perfect to do for fall, most are cheap or even free to do so it's really something to checkout. Let me know if y'all have any other suggestions or ideas, I'd love to hear them!
